Dr. Arijit Laha is a Senior Principal Data Scientist at Infosys with over 26 years of experience in the field. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in various areas such as Task-focused Knowledge Management, Knowledge-based systems, Rich context-aware intelligent human-assistive systems, Semantic Computation, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems, Parallel computing, and Big Data Analytics. Dr. Laha has published over 30 research papers in highly reputed journals and conferences, including multiple IEEE Transactions. He has also conceptualized, designed, and implemented complex mission-critical Expert Systems for DRDO. Additionally, he has served as a faculty member at two reputed institutes and taught general and specialized Computer Science courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As a Technology consultant to two Indian nationalized banks in their DW/BI initiatives, he has provided valuable insights and guidance to help these organizations achieve their goals. Dr. Laha has also played a key role in the Knowledge-work Support Systems(KwSS) project, which aims to create intelligent human-assistive systems that can help people work more efficiently. Dr. Laha holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Statistical Institute, where he specialized in Machine Learning, Neural Fuzzy systems. He also has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institute and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Burdwan. His technical skills include Research Scientist, Data Scientist, Big Data, ML, and Neural Networks. Dr. Laha is an accomplished professional who has made significant contributions to the field of data science and artificial intelligence.
